While the gambling action is still going strong in Las Vegas so are the summer parties at the hotel dayclubs.
Over the last few years numerous hotel pools have been transformed into dayclubs complete with cabanas, sand, dunk baths, LED screens, lighting systems, stages and top DJs. People flock in their thousands to enjoy the parties as well as the city’s better-known gambling facilities.
Now the Flamingo is looking to get in on the action. In 2015 the Flamingo hired Steve Sagan to transform the hotel’s pool into a dayclub. Since then he has developed it into one of the best locations in the city and over the next two years he has plans for even more expansion.
The Flamingo is looking to join the likes of Wet Republic, Encore Beach Club, Drai’s at The Cromwell, Daylight at Mandalay Bay, the Marquee at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Rehab in attracting the biggest crowds.
The Palms is also set to remodel its pool and open a new dayclub as part of a large-scale upgrade to the rest.
Most of the clubs only operate for half a year but last year The Marquee at The Cosmopolitan introduced winter daytime pool parties. They take place under a dome that keeps the temperatures between 80 and 90 degrees. They are planning to bring it back this winter and hope to keep drawing in the crowds.
The introduction of dayclubs at these top Vegas destinations means that visitors can enjoy world class gambling action and world class partying in one location and truly have a unique holiday.
