There is a new celebrity chef restaurant in Las Vegas. Food Network star Robert Irvine has just opened his very own Robert Irvine’s Public House at the Tropicana. He has described the new venue as a tribute to the comfort food he has come across while travelling.
The restaurant occupies a 9,000-square-foot area and features a 275-seat dining room with a wraparound bar, an open kitchen design, private dining room and fantastic views of the Las Vegas Strip.
On the menu visitors will find options such as a fork and knife burger with Vermont sharp cheddar fondue, mushrooms, onions, smoked bacon and brioche roll. There is a chicken fried duck confit with maple and sherry vinegar, braised kale and chard and buttery Sriracha sauce. A stone-fired shepherd’s pie with ground lamp, onion, peas and mashed potato crust, and much more.
In a press release Irvine said that he has had a long-time dream of opening a restaurant in Las Vegas and that the Tropicana makes the restaurant “that much more extraordinary”. He said that he hopes to share his travels through food and drink and give visitors “good food and a great experience, all at a reasonable price.”
There are over 32 beers on tap at the restaurant and additional 30 bottled. There is also a variety of wines on sale and more than a dozen signature cocktails such as the El Karma and The Patroni. There are also some health-inspired cocktails such as the Cranberry Caipiroska and Beet Down.
The restaurant is now open daily from 11am to 11pm and accepting bookings.
