If you are lucky enough to be celebrating New Year’s Eve on the Las Vegas strip tonight but aren’t quite sure where to get the best view of the fireworks then don’t worry as there are loads of options.
Hundreds of thousands of people will be joining you on the streets and as the clock strikes midnight around 80,000 rockets will be launched into the air from seven different locations: Aria, Caesars Palace, MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood Resort, Stratosphere, TI and The Venetian.
If you are feeling flush then head to The High Roller, the world’s highest observation wheel. A midnight ride costs $150 for a single ticket while a cabin for 25 starts at $4,500.
If heights are not your thing then the Hyde Bellagio nightclub offers some great views. It is an indoor and outdoor venue and the “Countdown by the Lake” party begins at 9pm. The good news is that you don’t have to be rich to attend, admission starts from just $50.
If you wish you had stayed in Europe then just head to Paris Las Vegas. The Beer Park and the Chateau Nightclub & Rooftop will be joining to host a rooftop party with excellent views of the fireworks. There are various packages available and include an open bar from 9pm until midnight.
Rock n’ rollers may want to celebrate at the Hard Rock Café, which has an outdoor area that is perfect for watching fireworks. It’s a little pricey but the $195 tickets include an open bar, food stations serving appetizers, party favours and a DJ.
In short, no matter what kind of party you’re looking for, there are plenty of options for you to celebrate the New Year in Las Vegas.
