While February may be the shortest month of the year, there is still plenty going on in Las Vegas. The month is packed with all kinds of shows so read on to discover what you can see if you are planning your visit this month.
February 15th: Kiss
The legendary rock band are promising to retire after their “End of the Road” world tour and they are stopping in Las Vegas for one night along the way. The tour is taking them across the USA and features many of their top hits like ‘Detroit Rock City’ and ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’.
Kiss, featuring the Starchild, the Demon, the Spaceman and the Catman, first enjoyed success in the height of the glam rock wave in the late 1970s. They are known for putting on fantastic shows including pyrotechnic displays, flaming guitars, floating drum kits, and more. While the band members may be in their late 50s and 60s, there is no sign of them slowing down. Any fans of the group are sure to have a fantastic time at this concert, and if it really is their final Vegas show, then it is one that is not to be missed.
February 13th – 25th: The Naked Magicians
If you like magic and are looking for something a bit different then The Naked Magicians at the Park MGM promises to be a show that you will never forget. You will no doubt have seen plenty of magic shows featuring capes, magic hats, animals appearing from sleeves and so on. However, you have probably never seen a magic show put on by two naked men.
Mike Tyler and Christopher Wayne will be in Las Vegas for just under two weeks to astound audiences with their unique show. They perform magic tricks, physical feats, and are guaranteed to make you laugh. Audience members have to be 21+ and even if you don’t like magic, this show is sure to make an impact.
February 8th & 9th: Van Morrison
The British R&B icon and legendary composer, singer and performer is coming to the stage at the Colosseum for a few shows this month. Influenced by musical greats such as Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, Muddy Waters, and Mahalia Jackson, Morrison has been a travelling musician since the age of 13. He has played guitar and sax in numerous bands and rose to fame with his band Them.
Over the years Morrison has produced numerous hits, such as ‘Brown Eyed Girl’, ‘Listen to the Lion’, and so on. His achievements have been widely recognised and he has picked up a number of awards and accolades including a knighthood, an OBE, a Brit award, 6 Grammys, honorary doctorates from two universities, an entrance in to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, the French Ordres Des Artes Et Des Lettres, and more.
Van Morrison is still going strong, composing new songs and releasing albums, and his shows never disappoint. He is coming to the end of his time in Vegas so any fans should make sure that they take the opportunity to see him while they can.
February 13th – 21st: Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey, the iconic pop singer and best selling female artist of all time with over 200 million records sold, will be returning to Las Vegas. In her show “The Butterfly Returns”, Carey will be giving an intimate performance on the Colosseum’s stage, featuring highlights from her extensive catalogue of hits.
Carey has had 18 Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles (17 of which she wrote herself), more than any other solo artist. She has won numerous Grammy awards, 21 American Music Awards, the Billboard “Artist of the Decade” award, the World Music Award for “World’s Best Selling Female Artist of the Millennium”, and much more. She is known for her impressive five-octave vocal range and outstanding performances. In recent years, Carey has also entered the world of film with great success. She is a unique artist and the chance to see her live in such an iconic venue should not be missed.
February 22nd & 23rd: Jerry Seinfeld
Jerry Seinfeld is one of the most iconic stand-up comedians of all time. His career was launched by his first appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson back in 1981. Then in 1989 he joined forces with comedian Larry David to start working on what became the most successful comedy series in the history of television, Seinfeld. The show was on NBC for nine seasons and it won numerous Emmy, Golden Globe and People’s Choice awards. In 2009 Seinfeld was named the greatest television show of all time by TV Guide and then in 2012 it was named the best ever sitcom in a 60 Minutes / Vanity Fair poll.
Since then Seinfeld has starred in and written a number of films, he has directed and produced a Broadway hit (Colin Quinn Long Story Short), he wrote a best-selling book (Seinlanguage) and a children’s book.
Recently Seinfeld has been producing the critically acclaimed series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The series has had over 100 million views and it has been described by the New York Times as “impressively complex and artful” and by Variety as “a game changer.”
Most recently he has been performing at the Beacon Theatre as part of a year residency called “Jerry Seinfeld: The Homestand”. However, now he is in Las Vegas for two nights and any fans of the comedians are guaranteed to have a fantastic time at his show.
February 8th – 23rd: Chicago – The Band
Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and for many the wait was far too long. It was the band’s first nomination despite the fact that they have been eligible since 1994.
The band have been on tour every year since they were formed, without ever missing a year. This year in Vegas fans have the chance to see the original three band members, Robert Lamm on keyboards and vocals, Lee Loughnane on trumpet and vocals, and James Pankow on trombone. Joining them will be a number of other long-term band members in what promises to be a fantastic set of shows.
So far, Chicago have sold over 40 million units in the US, with 23 gold, 18 platinum and 8 multi-platinum albums. They had five consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200 and 20 top-ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100.
They are well known for the sound of their horns, their distinctive vocalists, and of course their many hits. This will be there fifty-second year of touring, without them ever missing a concert date, and they are just as fresh and engaging as ever.
February 8th & 9th: Leon Lai
Las Vegas is a multicultural city and any speakers of Mandarin and Cantonese are sure to have a great time at the concerts given by Leon Lai.
Leon Lai was one of Hong Kong’s four most popular male singers during the 1990s, part of the group known as Cantopop’s “Four Heavenly Kings”. Since then he has gone on to release numerous best-selling records, he has enjoyed an acting career, and he is well known for his philanthropy and community work.
He is coming to Las Vegas with fresh arrangements of many of his most popular songs, some of them with a Broadway theme, the show will be accompanied by state of the art audio-visual equipment and set on a high-tech stage open on all sides. If you are a fan of Leon Lai then these shows are not to be missed.
Wynn Las Vegas
February 6th – 23rd: Diana Ross
Diana Ross is returning to the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas for a series of exciting new performances as part of the performer’s yearlong 75th Birthday Diamond Jubilee celebration. Ross is considered a national treasure and she is widely viewed as one of the greatest performers of all time. She has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and is the recipient of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Her Vegas show will include a selection of hits from her huge music catalogue that have been selected specially for this show. Each evening will be a celebration of song and promises to be an experience that fans will never forget.
February 27th: Smokey Robinson
The true spirit of Motown is arriving at Wynn for one night only this month in the form of the legendary Smokey Robinson. As part of The Miracles, Robinson was one of the founders of the iconic music label with Berry Gordy Jr., and then went on to produce 26 top-40 hits including “You’ve Really Got a Hold On Me,” “I Second That Emotion” and “The Tears of a Clown”.
Robinson is one of Motown’s most prolific songwriters and producers and is also behind hits such as “My Guy,” “The Way You Do the Things You Do,” and “Get Ready”. He was one of the first inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and he has had a fantastic solo career with hits such as “Cruisin” and “Being with You”. Fans of the singer are sure to have an evening that they will never forget, so be sure to book tickets before they are all gone.
February 6th – 23rd: Backstreet Boys
The Backstreet Boys, the bestselling boy band of all time, are in the final run of their show “Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life” in Las Vegas.
The group, consisting of AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, Kevin Richardson and Nick Carter, will be at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood from February 6th through to April 27th. The residency premiered back in 2017 and since then their sold-out shows have attracted fans from all over the world and drawn some of the biggest audiences in the history of Las Vegas headlining residencies. The show has been widely praised with Billboard Magazine saying, “Larger Than Life really is a show that no Backstreet fan should miss.”
It is a one of a kind production produced specially for Vegas. It was created and directed by one of the biggest names in the industry, Raj Kapoor, and features state-of-the-art lighting, visually stunning automation and jaw-dropping choreography by some of LA’s top choreographers. Thanks to cutting-edge special effects and elaborate video technology, the audience experiences the band like never before.

February 27th: Gwen Stefani
Gwen Stefani, the multi-platinum artist and global icon, is at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood with her headlining residency show “Gwen Stefani – Just a Girl”. The show kicks off at the end of this month and then continues throughout March.
Speaking about her upcoming show Stefani said, “To be able to do a show in Vegas is such an incredible honor. Growing up in Anaheim, California, I could never have imagined one day having my own Vegas residency. I have been so fortunate to tour throughout my career, but to create a show for Vegas is something I’ve never experienced and I can’t wait.”
Stefani is a three-time Grammy Award winner and sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. She has also received four MTV Video Music Awards, two Billboard Awards, an American Music Award, a Brit Award and much more. Outside of music, she is also widely recognised as an accomplished fashion designer having created the lifestyle brands L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers.

February 8th: Los Lobos
Los Lobos released their first album over 30 years ago, the ironically titled ‘Just Another Band from East L.A.’. Since then, they have firmly disproved the title by releasing a steady succession of hits and gaining a huge fan base. They are constantly evolving and never fail to delight. Any fans of the group are sure to enjoy their Vegas show at The Showroom in the Golden Nugget.
February 15th: Blue Oyster Cult
For more than forty years Blue Oyster Cult have been delighting fans of hard rock across the world with their powerful albums that are packed with classic songs. The band, which comes from Long Island, is highly respected within the hard rock and heavy metal world for its pioneering work. They have a special place in rock history thanks to the fact that they are one of the few bands in the genre to achieve mainstream critical acclaim and commercial success. Many other famous bands, such as Metallica, regularly cite them as a major influence, and the band was listed in VH1’s countdown of the greatest hard rock bands of all time.
February 22nd: The Fabulous Thunderbirds
For more than three decades The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been thought of as a quintessential American band. They have a distinct and powerful sound that is influenced by a diverse range of musical styles, and they have produced a number of hits such as “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up”. The band is still fronted by co-founder Kim Wilson, the sole original member, and he ensures that the group stays as fresh and enjoyable as ever.
February 22nd & 23rd: Duran Duran
Formed in Birmingham, UK, in 1978, Duran Duran are an English new wave and synth-pop band. The band quickly rose to fame and four decades later they have sold more than 100 million records, they have had 18 American hit singles, 20 UK Top 20 tunes, and they continue to perform in sold out venues around the world.
The band brings together pop music, art, technology, and fashion in a unique blend that is continually evolving and remains fresh to this day. The band, singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor, released their last album, Paper Gods, in 2015. It was their highest-charting release in 22 years and was a huge hit with fans. They will be at The Cosmopolitan for two nights this month, and putting on a show that is sure to delight.
