It is set to be another busy month in Las Vegas with a huge range of shows taking place every single day. From pop sensations to children’s magicians, there is more than enough to keep the entire family entertained. If you are heading to Vegas this month then be sure to have a careful look before you go as there is a vast amount to choose from.
April 12th: Pink with Special Guest Julia Michaels
Pink is coming to Las Vegas as part of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour and the Grammy award winning pop icon is brining with her the Grammy nominated singer and songwriter Julia Michaels as her special guest. Michaels worked with Pink in the past on the track “Barbies” as well as the melancholic song “For Now” on Pink’s seventh studio album Beautiful Trauma.
The critically acclaimed tour, produced by Live Nation, has received a huge amount of praise from fans and critics; in particular, they have highlighted Pink’s spectacular physicality and powerful vocals. Pink is known around the world as one of the most captivating live performers. In her Funhouse and Summer Carnival tours in 2009 and 2010, respectively she performed to 2.9 million people across 194 dates. Her popularity has in no way diminished over the last ten years and all fans of her music are sure to have a great night out at this concert.
April 20th: Jordan Brand Classic
Sports fans are in for a treat this month in Las Vegas with the annual Jordan Brand Classic taking place. This is a high school All-Star basketball game that brings the best and most highly recruited high school boys in the senior class. The game takes its name from the chief organizer, Jordan Brand, a division of Nike named after Michael Jordan, and the twenty-two players are selected from the top 100 players as ranked by various scouting services. In the past names such as Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis have all taken part. April 1st – 30th: Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club
Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club is one of the most popular venues in Las Vegas for stand-up comedy. Garrett, who is well known for his portrayal of Robert in Everybody Loves Raymond, is not a regular fixture at the club. Instead, he invites different talents to come and perform each month. This month you have the chance to enjoy comedians such as Alonzo Bodden, Jack Coen, Larry Reeb, Ken Garr, Jimmy Shubert, Lenny Schmidy, Eddie Ifft, Jeannie Doogan, Steve Trevino and Kermet Apio.

April 7th: 54th Academy of Country Music Awards
The Academy of Country Music Awards, also known as the ACM Awards, have been taking place annually since 1966 to honour the achievements of those in the industry over the previous year. Over the years, the awards have become more popular and they are now a major event that is broadcast live on CBS.
The awards show has been taking place in Las Vegas since 2003, and in 2015, it broke the Guinness record for Most Attended Awards Show with 70,252 attendees. It promises to be a spectacular evening once again for all fans of Country Music, and if you are in Vegas then you should do your best to attend.
April 6th, 8th, 11th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 21st, 23rd, and 26th: Aerosmith
This month America’s all-time top-selling rock ‘n’ roll band Aerosmith are coming to the Park MGM with their headlining residency Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild. The residency is giving visitors the chance to see one of the greatest ever rock ‘n’ roll bands in one of the most immersive, state of the art audio and video technology experiences in Las Vegas. The show is set to feature never seen before visuals and audio from Aerosmith recording sessions.
For over four decades, they have been one of the most popular rock bands and have a catalogue of timeless hits behind them. After reaching stardom in the 1970s with songs such as “Dream On”, “Sweet Emotion” and “Walk This Way”, they have continued to entertain and attract new generations of fans. This show will feature a number of their all-time greatest hits and is an experience that no fan should miss.
April 29th and 30th: Bruno Mars
The eleven-time Grammy award winner and 27 time Grammy award nominee is coming to Las Vegas for two nights this month. Bruno Mars, the celebrated singer, songwriter, producer, and musician who has sold more than 180 million singles worldwide is one of the bestselling artists of all time. He will be taking to the stage with his nine-piece band with a show that is sure to delight. With hits such as “Just the Way You Are”, “Grenade”, “The Lazy Song”, “Locked Out of Heaven”, “When I was Your Man”, “Treasure”, “Uptown Funk” and “24K Magic”, the show promises to be an evening you will never forget.
April 17th – 27th: James Taylor and His All-Star Band
The legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor will be in Las Vegas for ten nights this month joined by his all-star band. Taylor has been on the scene for more than forty years and set a precedent that numerous young musicians have aspired to. Over the course of his career, Taylor has sold more than 100 million albums earning gold, platinum, and multi-platinum awards for classics ranging from “Sweet Baby James” in 1970 to “October Road” in 2002.
In 2016, Taylor released his first new studio album in thirteen years, Before This World, and it went on to become his first ever #1 album. He has won numerous Grammy awards and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Over the years, he has collected various other awards including the Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government and the National Medal of Arts by President Barack Obama. He was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015. His run of shows in Las Vegas simply shouldn’t be missed.
April 25th – 27th: Puddles Pity Party
If you are looking for something a bit different then Puddles Pity Party, the giant sad clown with the golden voice, will be in Las Vegas for two nights this month. The show, which will be taking place in the Caesars Palace showroom, will contain a number of new songs as well as plenty of Puddles classics. The show will also include improvisational audience participation moments, including the “Luck of the Draw” segment where audience members will roll the dice or pick a card to determine which song Puddles performs next.
Puddles enjoyed a three-week sold-out run at Caesars in January and this run of shows is set to be just as popular. Book your tickets today to ensure that you don’t miss out.
April 12th: Weezer and Pixies
Weezer is an American rock band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1992. The four-piece band has sold 9.2 million albums in the US and over 17 million records worldwide. Their catalogue includes hits such as “Buddy Holly”, “Undone (The Sweater Song)”, “Say It Ain’t So”, “El Scorcho”, “Hash Pipe”, “Island In The Sun”, “Beverly Hills”, “Pork and Beans”, and more. They have won Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, and far more. In 2016, Weezer released their tenth studio album, Weezer (The White Album), a self-proclaimed beach album that debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Rock/Alternative chart and top 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Joining Weezer are Pixies, a band acclaimed as the most influential, pioneering band of the late 1980s alt/rock movement. They continue to attract fans to this day with their iconic “loudquietloud” sound. The band disbanded in 1993 but then reunited in 20004 for a reunion tour that lasted seven years and went across the globe. Since then they have gone on to release a number of new songs and albums.

April 27th: Cole Swindell
Cole Swindell is well known as a songwriter for some of the biggest names in country music, such as Luke Bryant and Scotty McCreery. He released his solo debut single “Chillin’ It” in 2013 and from then on, he has been known as an artist in his own right. Beforehand he had written hits such as Craig Campbell’s “Outta My Head” and Scotty McCreery’s “Water Town Town,” both of which climbed the country charts and bolstered his growing reputation. Since then he has gone on to release a number of singles and albums, and has toured successfully on many occasions. This is his only scheduled stop in Las Vegas this year and it is sure to be an evening to remember.
April 24th, 26th, 27th: Steely Dan
Steely Dan is coming to The Venetian for a nine-night residency starting this month and called “Reelin’ in the Chips 2”. It will entertain audiences with ha greatest hits set of diverse selections from the bands huge catalogue. Steely Dan has sold more than 40 million albums and was a central voice of the 1970s with hits such as “Reelin’ in the Years”, “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number”, “F.M.”, “Peg”, “Hey Nineteen”, “Deacon Blues”, and “Babylon Sisters”.

April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th: The Chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers will be at Wynn’s XS Nightclub for four nights this month. The American DJ and production duo started out by releasing remixes of songs by indie artists. They then achieved a breakthrough with their 2014 song #Selfie, which became a top twenty single in numerous countries. They are know best known for singles such as “Closer”, “Don’t Let Me Down”, and “Roses”. They have won a Grammy award, two American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and eight iHeartRadio Music Awards. They promise to deliver an unforgettable night.
April 6th: Chris Tuckers
Due to popular demand, Chris Tucker will be at Wynn for two shows on Saturday, April 6th. The acclaimed comedian and actor is known for the hugely successful Rush Hour series, as well as the Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook. He enjoyed breakout success on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and stared in the cult classic Friday. He has now returned to stand up and was a huge success when he appeared at Wynn in January. April 6th, 13th: Galantis
Galantis is a Swedish electronic dance music production, song writing and DJ duo best known for their hit singles “Runaway (U & I)”, “Peanut Butter Jelly” and “No Money”. They have released two albums to date and have a third on the way. Over the last three years, they have been nominated for a number of Grammys, International Dance Music Awards, Electronic Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards and NRJ Music Awards. They promise to deliver a high-energy night like no other.
April 10th – 20th: John Fogerty
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty is returning to Wynn to debut “My 50-Year Trip”, a new concert celebrating the iconic musician’s five decades performing and his best-known performance, the legendary New York music festival , Woodstock. Fogerty has put together an evening that highlights the songs created during that era, such as “Born On The Bayou”, “Proud Mary”, and all the fan favourites from Creedence Clearwater Revival, including Foberty’s original Woodstock set list. He will be performing six times over the course of ten days this month in a show that is surely not to be missed.
April 24th, 26th, 27th: Sarah McLachlan
Sarah McLachlan has sold over 40 million albums worldwide and produced a catalogue of chart-topping hits. She is coming to Wynn with her fan favourites for just three nights. With hits such as “I Will Remember You”, “Sweet Surrender” and her iconic ballad “Angel”, McLachlan is sure to delight. Over the years, she has won three Grammys, a Billboard Music Award, and 12 June Awards in her native Canada. She is also the founder of Lilith Fair, which has raised over $10 million for women’s local and national charities over three years. She then went on to found the non-profit Sarah McLachlan School of Music, which has provided musical education to more than 1,000 at-risk and underserved children. Her concerts are always an evening to remember and these promise to be no different.
April 5th, 6th: Up, up & Away
Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. are the voices, original stars and lead singers of the group The 5th Dimension and they are now coming to Vegas with their show Up, Up and Away. Over the years they were responsible for numerous hits including “Up, Up and Away”, “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In”, “Worst That Could Happen”, “Stoned Soul Picnic”, “Sweet Blindness”, “Wedding Bell Blues”, and “One Less Bell to Answer”. As a duo, they won a Grammy award for “You Don’t Have to be a Star (to be in My Show” and they were named by Billboard as “The First Couple of Pop and Soul”. This concert will be a celebration of their own music and is sure to be a night to be remembered.
April 27th: Legendary Ladies of Motown: Mary Wilson & Martha Reeves
It has been over five decades since Martha Reeves boarded the rented bus together with the likes of The Miracles, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes and Marvin Gaye on the first Motown Review. She, together with her backup group, The Vandellas, didn’t take long to hit the charts with “Come and Get These Memories”, “Love is Like a Heat Wave” and “Quicksand”. She has won the Dinah Washington Award, a Rhythm n’ Blues Foundation Pioneer Award, a Black Woman in Publishing Legends Award, and has been inducted in the Alabama, Soul, Rock and Roll, and Vocal Group halls of fame.
Mary Wilson, together with Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, founded one of the most successful female singing groups in recording history, The Supremes. Since then, Wilson has written a best-selling autobiography, performed on stage and screen, and toured the world.
The two will take to the stage together for one night this month for a show that any music fan is sure to love.
