Majority Rules Speed Blackjack – New Live Dealer Game
Fans of Live Blackjack have an exciting new variant to explore at Casino Las Vegas. Majority Rules Speed Blackjack is a fast-paced game that features some exciting twists to the rules that all players of the game are sure to love.
The game has two different modes, Majority Rules and Best Strategy. In the Majority Rules mode, all players vote on Hit, Stand, Double or Split, and if more than 50% or a simply majority vote for a specific course of action, it automatically takes place. In games with fewer players, the Best Strategy mode is triggered where the hands are automatically resolved according to the rules of best Blackjack strategy. In both mode types, players much choose in advance whether to accept a vote or the best strategy decision on Split and Double actions that require additional bets.
It is an eight-deck Blackjack game that has just two seats at the table, but can host an unlimited number of players. In many ways, the game follows the standard Blackjack rules and game flow. Upon joining the table, you first need to decide whether you want Split and Double to apply automatically, as explained above. You can then place the main bet and any of the optional side bets that interest you.
You will be shown how many players have bet on a seat and whether it is enough players to trigger the Majority Rules mode. If it has been triggered, then after the cards have been dealt you will get to vote on the hand actions (Hit, Stand, etc.). If it hasn’t been triggered then the game is played in Best Strategy mode and the game actions are automatic based upon best blackjack strategy.
In all other ways, the game follows the standard rules. This means that the aim is to put together a hand of cards that has a value closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand does, but does not exceed 21. You win if your hand is closer to 21 than the dealer’s is at the end of the round.
In Blackjack the number cards (2 through 10) are worth their face value, face cards (Jack, Queen and King) are all worth 10, and Aces can be worth 1 or 11. The game takes its name from the best possible hand, two cards that have a total of 21, an Ace and a 10 card. Blackjack beats all other hands, including those that are worth 21 but contain more than two cards.
At the end of the round, winning hands are paid out at 1:1, except for Blackjack, which pays a more generous 3:2.
As mentioned, the game also offers a number of side bets, the Player Pair and the 21+3. The Player Pair bet is won if your initial two cards form one of three kinds of pairs, a Perfect Pair, a Coloured Pair or a Red/Black Pair. A Perfect Pair is two identical cards and it pays out at 25:1, a Coloured Pair is two cards that have the same colour and value but come from different suits and it pays out at 12:1, a Red/Black pair is two cards that have the same value but different suits and colours and it pays out at 6:1.
The 21+3 side bet is on the two cards dealt to you and the dealer’s face-up card combining to form a poker hand. It pays 100:1 for a Suited Three of a Kind, 40:1 for a Straight Flush, 30:1 for Three of a Kind, 10:1 for a Straight and 5:1 for a Flush.
This exciting new Blackjack variant is bound to provide you with hours of fun and hopefully, masses of winnings. Why not take your seat today and start casting your vote to see if you can sway things to go your way.
